The HE100 series vibration monitoring unit has established itself very successfully on the market. As part of our ongoing development of the HE100 series, we are now focusing on the area of intrinsic safety in potentially explosive atmospheres. Thanks to a feed/isolating amplifier and newly developed electronic circuit board with the premium quality you have come to expect from Hauber, you can now integrate an intrinsically safe sensor in your existing system in potentially explosive atmospheres. The monitoring unit is now supplied with a special Ex i cable. The sensor features 5 pins and is connected to the cable using a standard M12 plug. Since the 5th pin is connected to the cable shield to guarantee electromagnetic compatibility, the end connection retains its previous 4-pin configuration. This results in the following advantages:

  • The Ex ib version of the new HE100 sensor type can now be installed in ATEX zones without a permanently integrated cable.
  • The new version can now be quickly and easily connected in all “Ex ib systems”.
  • As with all other products from HAUBER, the Ex ib version of the type HE100 is available in the frequency ranges from 1 to 1,000 and 10 to 1,000 Hz with an analogue output of 4 to 20 mA.
  • In the absence of a process control system, our tried and tested electronic evaluation units can be used.
