Responsibility and Transparency
At HAUBER-Elektronik, material compliance is an integral part of product development. We ensure that relevant information on the substances contained in our products is systematically collected and transparently provided. In doing so, we adhere to recognized international standards and regulatory requirements.
The available material compliance reports can be found directly on the respective product pages. They provide information on the relevant regulatory requirements and give an overview of the current material compliance assessment status.

Our Quality Standard
Our material compliance management is aligned with the international standard IEC 63000. The required data is collected based on supplier information and carefully reviewed.
Please note that our statements are based on the information available to us. A complete assessment is only possible for materials and components for which sufficient and compliant data is available.
Regulatory Framework
Our activities are guided by a range of international regulations and directives governing the safe use of materials in electronic products. These include:
- REACH: An EU regulation concerning the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances, identifying substances of very high concern.
- RoHS: An EU directive restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to minimize environmental and health risks.
- Proposition 65: A U.S. regulation requiring businesses to provide warnings about potential exposure to chemicals.
- POP Regulation: A European and international regulation (Stockholm Convention) aiming to ban and control persistent organic pollutants worldwide.
- TSCA: The Toxic Substances Control Act – a US law that strictly monitors and regulates the import, use, and disposal of certain chemical substances in the US market.
- PFAS: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances are increasingly subject to strict regulatory requirements within the EU.
- Conflict Minerals (CMRT): International regulations (such as the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and the US Dodd-Frank Act) to ensure ethical and transparent raw material procurement. Further information can be found in our Conflict Minerals Policy.
