Material Compliance

Responsibility and Transparency

At HAUBER-Elektronik, material compliance is an integral part of product development. We ensure that relevant information on the substances contained in our products is systematically collected and transparently provided. In doing so, we adhere to recognized international standards and regulatory requirements.

On the product pages, we provide the corresponding material compliance reports. These include information on relevant regulatory requirements and offer an overview of the current material compliance assessment status.

Our Quality Standard

Our material compliance management is aligned with the international standard IEC 63000. The required data is collected based on supplier information and carefully reviewed.

Please note that our statements are based on the information available to us. A complete assessment is only possible for materials and components for which sufficient and compliant data is available.

Regulatory Framework

Our activities are guided by a range of international regulations and directives governing the safe use of materials in electronic products. These include:

  • REACH: An EU regulation concerning the registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances, identifying substances of very high concern.
  • RoHS: An EU directive restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to minimize environmental and health risks.
  • Proposition 65: A U.S. regulation requiring businesses to provide warnings about potential exposure to chemicals.
  • POP Regulation & TSCA: International regulations controlling persistent organic pollutants (POP) and governing chemical substances in the United States (Toxic Substances Control Act, TSCA).
  • PFAS: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances are increasingly subject to strict regulatory requirements within the EU.
